About Adat Iban 1993

The Adat Iban Order 1993 codifies the customary laws of the Iban people of Sarawak. It covers marriage customs (ngayap, engagement, divorce), property rights, land and farming disputes, penalties for various offences, and the jurisdiction of traditional courts from Tuai Rumah to Temenggong level.
